About the internship
- You'll help shape a user-first product experience—from problem discovery to polished UI—working closely with product and engineering.
- This role is ideal for someone who cares deeply about user experience and wants to learn how design systems and real product constraints come together.
What you'll do
- Translate product goals and user needs into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI.
- Create and iterate prototypes in Figma to validate interaction ideas quickly.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs map cleanly to a component-driven system (Storybook).
- Contribute to UI consistency by proposing improvements to patterns, components, and documentation.
- Support lightweight UX research activities (e.g. quick interviews, surveys, usability checks) with guidance from the team.
What we're looking for
- Strong interest in UX: you can explain your decisions in terms of user needs and product outcomes.
- Comfortable using Figma for layouts, components, and prototyping.
- Basic understanding of responsive design, accessibility fundamentals, and UI hierarchy.
- Clear communication: you can share work-in-progress and incorporate feedback.
- Portfolio or samples (school projects are fine): show your process, not just final screens.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Storybook or component libraries/design systems.
- Basic awareness of Next.js/React constraints (even if you don't code).
- Experience running or participating in usability tests.
- Interest in Salesforce-connected workflows (CRM-adjacent user journeys).
What you'll learn
- How a modern product team moves from discovery → design → implementation.
- How to design for a component system and collaborate through Storybook.
- How to validate UX decisions with quick, practical research methods.
Perks & environment
- Free lunch provided daily.
- International English-speaking team that sharpens your communication skills.
- Room for your own ideas and proactive input.
- Opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance.
- Fast-paced AI-first culture where initiative is rewarded.
Interview process
- Intro chat (goals, availability, internship timeline).
- Portfolio walkthrough (focus on your thinking and tradeoffs).
- Small practical exercise or critique (time-boxed).
- Final conversation with the team.
Portfolio guidance
- Include 1–3 projects with: the problem, constraints, your role, iterations, and what you'd improve next.
- If you don't have a formal portfolio, share Figma links or a short PDF with screenshots and notes.
