About the role

  • You'll build reliable end-to-end tests for a fast-moving AI product using Playwright — with a workflow that's different from most QA setups.
  • Our QA tests are authored and executed via MCP Cloud + Claude. That means you're not just writing test scripts; you're working in an AI-native testing environment where the tooling helps you generate, review, and run tests more efficiently.
  • This is genuinely new territory in QA, and if you care about quality and are excited about how AI changes engineering workflows, this is a rare opportunity.

What you'll do

  • Design and write Playwright end-to-end tests for core user journeys and critical product paths.
  • Use MCP Cloud + Claude to author and review test scenarios in our AI-native QA workflow.
  • Convert bug reports and edge cases into reliable regression test coverage.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to improve testability (selectors, state management, test hooks).
  • Write Python utilities for test data setup, environment checks, and reporting.
  • Analyse flaky tests and improve reliability through root-cause investigation.

What we're looking for

  • Strong quality mindset — you genuinely care about catching issues before users do.
  • Hands-on experience with QA or testing (coursework, personal projects, or internship).
  • Interest in Playwright or browser automation (prior experience is a plus, not a requirement).
  • Comfortable writing Python for scripting and utility tasks.
  • Excited about using AI tools as part of an engineering workflow — not just as a novelty.
  • Able to describe expected vs. actual behavior clearly and reproduce issues reliably.

Nice to have

  • Prior Playwright experience — fixtures, parallel runs, selectors, screenshots.
  • Familiarity with Next.js/React app behavior (routing, hydration, UI states).
  • Experience with MCP Cloud or Claude for engineering tasks.
  • Experience with CI pipelines and cloud-based test execution.

What you'll learn

  • How to design maintainable E2E tests that survive UI changes.
  • How to use AI tooling to author and review test scenarios at scale.
  • How to build QA processes that give a real team confidence in their releases.

Perks & environment

  • Free lunch provided daily.
  • International English-speaking team that sharpens your communication skills.
  • Room for your own ideas and proactive input.
  • Opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance.
  • Fast-paced AI-first culture where initiative is rewarded.

Interview process

  • Intro conversation — your background, QA mindset, availability.
  • Practical exercise — write or review a small test scenario (async, time-boxed).
  • Technical discussion — debugging approach, reliability, and how you think about coverage.
  • Final conversation with the engineering team.
